But the impeccable detail she renders in each strand of hair as it captures and plays with light before folding back into luxuriously soft waves of fur is incredible. Commissioning a "portrait" doesn't do the experience justice. Her art falls somewhere between photo-realism and hot breath on your arm once again. I was hoping for a piece that would capture my sweet senior yellow lab's likeness, but she conjured his "presence" back in the entryway of my home again.
